Walk, talk, and learn from Asad Dandia, Brooklyn-born NYC historian, urbanist, and lecturer who shares infrequently discussed stories through “Radical Walking Tours” on untold stories of immigrants in Harlem, Brooklyn, and Lower Manhattan with Muslim backgrounds.The “Arab and Muslim American History Walk on Atlantic Avenue” will cover two neighborhoods: Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill, ultimately ending on Atlantic Avenue, one of the most important thoroughfares in our city.
Our starting location is the Center for Brooklyn History (CBH) at 128 Pierrepont Street, right off the Court Street R train line.
