About this Event
Celebrate Arab American Heritage Month with Us!
Celebrate the richness and diversity of Arab culture at the Arab American Heritage Month Celebration, hosted by Arabesques on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Buffalo History Museum from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
This vibrant community gathering honors Arab American Heritage Month with an immersive program that brings history, art, and tradition to life. Guests will experience engaging presentations on Arab heritage and the legacy of the coffeeshop as a cultural hub, alongside a powerful visual storytelling performance, “Zenobia Returns,” by Nada Odeh with live music by Furkan Cat.
The celebration continues with live traditional music by Paul Hage, an interactive dance instruction including Dabke, and a welcoming social hour set within a recreated Arabic coffeeshop atmosphere. Visitors of all ages can enjoy hands-on art activities inspired by Arabic calligraphy, curated art displays, and meaningful opportunities to connect with the community.
Join us for a morning of culture, creativity, and connection as we celebrate the stories and contributions of Arab Americans. Donations are welcome and greatly appreciated.
