Join Les Éditions du Pacifique, Magnum Photos, and the Ara Güler Museum for the launch of the new edition of Ara Güler's Istanbul, featuring a text by Orhan Pamuk.
This revised edition presents newly restored scans from Ara Güler’s original negatives, alongside renewed archival research conducted by the Ara Güler Archives and Research Center.
The evening will open with a presentation of the book, followed by a conversation between representatives of the Ara Güler Museum and the publisher. Together, they will discuss Ara Güler’s legacy, the research and restoration work behind this new publication, and the Ara Güler Museum’s ongoing efforts to preserve and promote his work.
The talk will be followed by a cocktail reception.
