About this Event
Join Robyn from Norden Aquavit in Michigan for a master class on our favorite spirit, Aquavit! You'll learn the history of aquavit and how it is distilled. Plus, he'll take you through a proper tasting of four of his aquavits.
What is Aquavit?
Aquavit is a central component of Scandinavian drinking culture and is typically sipped throughout the course of a meal as a "snap". Aquavit is made just like gin, but with caraway or dill instead of juniper. The flavor can differ based on what herbs and spices have been added and whether or not it has been aged.
There will also be the opportunity to purchase additional taster pours from Norden's barrel aged Kuriosa Kollektion. Or want to try it in a cocktail? The majority of Skål's cocktails are aquavit based to highlight the versatility of the spirit.
Our full kitchen will be open during the event. Come sample aquavit and have dinner with us. 21+. No refunds. Transferrs allowed. Class value may be applied to a future event
