Join us for the exciting public open days of APRIM2026 from Wednesday May 6th til Friday May 8th from 2pm until 6pm each afternoon.

The venue is in the iconic Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wanchai – exact location is the Convention Foyer at L1.

Come and explore the vibrant astronomy environment in Hong Kong with set-ups and displays including the largest portable telescope in Hong Kong, hands-on and other exhibits such as a portable radio telescope from the Square Kilometre Array public outreach group. There will be opportunities to meet scientists and technologists from around the World in the field of Astronomy and Space Science! You can also explore and join local HK based astronomy societies and even buy APRIM themed special beer!

Finally there is a “world premiere” art installation in the exhibition space from famous Chinese-America artist Bing Yi of a specially commissioned work on the theme of Cosmology.
