Not your typical YTO event – this special day is all about slowing down, reconnecting with nature and giving yourself some well-deserved time out Your Time Out with YTO is a unique wellbeing walking experience, combining gentle guided walking with mindfulness, nature connection and self-compassion techniques. The focus is not on covering the miles, but on supporting your wellbeing, helping you unplug from busy everyday life and reconnect with yourself in a beautiful natural setting 🌿
Set in the stunning landscapes of Farndale on the North York Moors, this walk is led by one of our experienced YTO walk leaders alongside expert clinical psychologist David Fong. Together they will guide you through a relaxed day of walking, pausing, noticing and reflecting, while sharing practical tools and ideas you can take away and use back in your everyday 9–5 life.
This is the perfect opportunity to step away from the noise, slow your pace, breathe deeply and tune into the rhythms of nature.

What to expect
🥾 A shorter, slower paced walk of around 5–7 miles
🌿 Mixed terrain including woodland, riverside paths, moorland and open countryside
🕤 A relaxed 9:30am – 4:00pm day out
👥 Small supportive group – maximum of 12 participants
