Is your teen looking for something unique and different to do over April break? Have them trade that iPad or video game for a weeklong journey into glass art! In our camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of glass beadmaking using a gas and oxygen-fueled torch and glass rods.
Students will be introduced to the use of heat and gravity to shape molten glass. Each student will make between 6-8 beads each day. On the last day, students will learn how to turn their beads into finished jewelry and will leave with several pendants, bracelets, keychains and more.
