Join us for a terra-ific week as we celebrate the Earth we live on. The week will be filled with hands-on demonstrations, crafts, and more! Challenge yourself to make something out of recycled materials in our Museum MakerSpace. Educator-led demonstrations will run from 10am to 3pm at the top of the hour. All activities free with Museum admission.
April 13: Space Day
Join us to blast off with a rocket craft, explore the constellations, make nebula spin art and more!
April 14: Insect Day
Learn more about our bugs! Make a ladybug, make a butterfly lifecycle, and see some bug parts up close!
April 15: Plant Day
Learn about how plants grow and why they are so important! There will be readings of The Lorax, truffula tree crafts and seed planting among other activities.
April 16: Weather Day
Where does water go? Find out how water travels through Earth with some water cycle science demos, use the sun to make art, learn about types of clouds and make a water cycle in a bag.
April 17: The Highlights
We will be picking our favorite Earth activities from throughout the week to do again!
