Join us for our first walk of 2026!We're headed to Shenandoah University to explore the beautiful & vibrant college campus right in Winchester's backyard. We'll trek through the campus, see several murals (including a hidden one!) and explore the connections students and faculty have to Winchester's downtown, parks and other destinations.

Route:
We'll start at the visitor's center and loop through the SU campus, and then head to the Green Circle Trail and other main connections student's and faculty have to downtown.
This route includes a few minor hills through campus. All TalkWALK routes are 'butterfly' routes, meaning the mid point loops back to the start, so that those who prefer or need a shorter walk have a shorter option.
What's a TalkWALK?
TalkWALK Community Walks are held in a different Winchester neighborhood each month and feature a variety of invited guests, including longtime residents, city employees, elected officials, community leaders, small business owners, local historians, naturalists, experts, and enthusiasts.
3rd Monday/Month, 6PM
Each month we'll meet up in a different Winchester neighborhood and walk with these invited guests, who will be available to chat and share insights as we explore. Walks are ~3 miles, typically starting/ending at a park or school, with a midpoint return option for those who prefer a shorter route.
Let’s explore Winchester, learn something new, exchange ideas, enjoy good company, and get fresh air together. Come walk with us!
