Our story continues.After years of gathering in and around Santa Rosa Beach, Emerald Coast Storytellers has begun expanding west. Our Fort Walton Beach series is officially underway, and we’re excited to continue building a new chapter—bringing new voices, new stories, and a new community around the mic.
Join us at Gannet Creative House — a creative studio space in the heart of Fort Walton Beach — for a night of live storytelling where strangers become familiar, ordinary moments become meaningful, and stories are experienced together, in real time.

April Story Theme: Family Ties
Family is often where our first stories begin. It’s where we learn love, language, conflict, and care—sometimes long before we know how to name them.
But family ties don’t stop at blood. They extend through generations, across distance, and into the people, places, and communities that shape us. They’re the threads we’re born into, the ones we inherit, and the ones we choose to hold onto—or gently unravel.
This theme invites stories about the families who raised us, the ones we’re raising, the ones we’ve found along the way, and the ties that continue to pull us back, push us forward, or quietly hold us together.
