April Silent Book Club - The Waggon and Horses

Join us for a relaxed evening of quiet reading with fellow book lovers at The Waggon and Horses, Worcester St.

Silent Book Club is a welcoming, low-pressure gathering for readers of all kinds. There’s no assigned reading, no discussion questions, and no pressure to socialise (unless you want to!). Just bring whatever you’re currently reading, grab a drink, and enjoy an hour of peaceful reading in good company.

Whether you're into fantasy, thrillers, romance, non-fiction, literary fiction, or anything in between, everyone is welcome.

How it works:
• Arrive, grab a drink, and settle in
• We chat for a few minutes while everyone gets comfortable
• Then we enjoy around an hour of silent reading together
• Afterwards, you’re welcome to stay and chat about books - or simply head off

Bring along a book, an e-reader, or an audiobook with headphones.

If you’ve been meaning to carve out some reading time, this is the perfect excuse to slow down, switch off, and get a few chapters in.
