Finding ways to be still and quiet our minds can be challenging. A sound immersion experience can be an easy way to find that physical and mental stillness, as the soothing vibrations fill the space and provide an opportunity for the body to relax and the mind to calm. Crystal singing bowls, gongs, flutes and other vibrational instruments, each chosen for their unique resonant qualities, are intuitively played to create an immersive experience. The soundscape will be carefully crafted to create vibrations that affect the energy within the body. As the session unfolds, the sounds will recalibrate every cell in your body, creating a nurturing environment where you can connect to your inner self.

Whether you're new to sound healing or have experienced it before, this experience offers a profound opportunity to release stress, restore balance and connect with your higher self. Come immerse yourself in the tranquil sounds and leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

How to Prepare for Class/What to Bring

• Dress comfortably (you'll be lying down)

• Yoga mat(s) or soft cushions to lay on (make sure your comfy, it's a hard floor)

• Small pillow and blanket (you may get chilly)

• Water

• Optional: eye pillow/mask (I have some to lend out), bolster for under your knees

• Optional: journal or sketch book to jot down any reflections

Please arrive between 9:45 am and 10:00 am. We will begin promptly at 10:00 am! There is a large parking lot at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center located on Cradle Rock Way. Doors remained locked until 9:45 am.

About Shannon Liwen: Shannon is a dedicated facilitator with a passion for hollistic wellness. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She offers private sessions at her home studio to assist individuals in bringing back balance into their mind, body, and spirit. She is a Certified Reiki Practitioner, as well as a Certifed Sound Healing Therapist. Ultimately, Shannon aims to help people reclaim their power to heal, connect to their unlimited potential, and live joyfully as the divine and creative beings they are.

• Address: Owen Brown Interfaith Center, Hall A. 7246 Cradle Rock Way, Columbia, MD (Hall A is located on the second floor, follow the signs to the Sanctuary). Plenty of parking in the parking lot.
• Energy Exchange: $40 (Spots are limited make sure to register early)
• Time: 10am-11:30pm (Please arrive early to set up your spot, we will start on time)
