April Procurement Cafe: Doing Business with the City of Virginia Beach

Whether you're just getting started or looking to expand your current government contracting work, this event will provide practical tools and direct access to the City’s Procurement team.

This month’s Procurement Café will feature a Virginia Beach procurement officer who will walk participants through a past City solicitation, highlighting the key components of a Request for Proposal (RFP) that businesses should focus on when preparing a response. The session will also review a corresponding submitted proposal to illustrate what evaluators look for and identify important elements that can strengthen a submission. Attendees will gain practical insight into how to better understand solicitations and develop more competitive responses for City opportunities.
