About Máyyan ‘Ooyákma - Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve

Máyyan ‘Ooyákma - Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve features serpentine grasslands which provide refuge for a wide variety of rare plants and wildlife, some of which have teetered on the edge of extinction. This preserve is managed, maintained, and overseen by Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority (OSA), and we're excited to have you join us!

____

Due to limited parking, we are offering open-access tickets in two time slots: 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM.

Specific Hike Information

The full-loop hike is considered rigorous for many hikers. If a less rigorous hike is desired, we recommend an up-and-back Bay Checkerspot trail hike (we can give more details that morning).

For public safety, rain and red flag warnings will cancel hikes.
