APRIL NOON-TEN CONCERTS AT ST. LUKE’SOur Spring Noon-Ten Concert series continues with organist, Nolan Anthony.
Nolan Anthony is a graduate student at the North Carolina School of the Arts pursuing a Master of Music degree in Organ. Nolan began organ studies at the age of 12 in his hometown of Hendersonville, NC. At the age of 14, he was hired as the Organist and Accompanist at Trinity United Methodist Church in West Asheville, a position he held for eight years. Nolan was the Organist at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church –Trinity Campus of Greenville, SC during his senior year at Furman University, and most recently served as Interim Organist at Fletcher United Methodist Church in Fletcher, NC.
Nolan has enjoyed presenting organ recitals across Western North Carolina, including annual Halloween Organ Concerts at Trinity UMC Asheville and organ dedication recitals in both Fletcher and Arden, NC. Nolan was invited to perform a solo recital for the After Noon Concert Series at Princeton University Chapel in New Jersey. Nolan recently achieved the American Guild of Organist Colleague Certification and currently serves as Director of Music at Starling Avenue Baptist Church, Martinsville, VA.
