About this Event
Join us for our next meet-up on WEDS 15th APRIL in the BASEMENT BAR at CITY SCREEN with LOUIS BAMBER, director, producer and Joint Managing Director of York-based factual TV indie BUTTON DOWN.
BUTTON DOWN are behind two successful series of BRICKIES for BBC 3, STEAM TRAIN DIARIES for Channel Four and most recently the hard-hitting POISON WATER for BBC 2.
With work as diverse as WILL YOU MARRY ME? for E4 and THE FIRST REFUGEES for landmark BBC series CIVILISATIONS, BUTTON DOWN has grown from online content to hard-hitting documentary, working with brands such as CADBURY, DYSON, UNIBET and organisations including the RFU, BRITISH CYCLING and the OLYMPICS.
A talented director and producer, Louis will be on hand to chat about his career, idea creation and the successful growth of BUTTON DOWN.
As usual, there'll be time for a Q&A and networking with your fellow filmmakers.
Please grab a ticket - the event will run 7-9.30pm on WEDS 15th APRIL in the BASEMENT BAR at YORK CITY SCREEN.
See you there!
