About this Event
Chef Yang Trinh and the Jiyu No Tori team are coming back — and we're bringing the good stuff.
We're taking over Modus Coffee Broadway for a two part izakaya-style dining series done our way. Think casual energy, chef-driven food, and drinks worth lingering over. This isn't a sit-down-and-behave kind of dinner. It's the kind of night where you order another round because the food keeps getting better.
Here's what we're bringing to the table:
Obanzai - Curated selection of small Japanese snack dishes, done in the style of Kyoto Izakayas.
Yakitori skewers - A variety of chicken skewers, from classic Negima to Tsukune chicken meatballs.
Yaki Onigiri - Handmade rice balls grilled fresh.
Drinks - Asahi + some additonal surprises.
A relaxed, intimate atmosphere in the heart of Mount Pleasant — surrounded by people who came for the same reason you did.

How ticketing works:
Your ticket acts as a deposit to hold your reservation and will be deducted from your final bill on the night. Easy.
Reservations are recommended — walk-ins are always welcome if we have room.

Dietary:
Due to the limited capacity and menu we will unable to accomodate dietary issues. However, none of our dishes will have nuts, if you have any inquiries please feel free to contact us directly through eventbrite.
