April: Infertility, Pregnancy & Infant Loss Grief Circle

Come together to find our hearts connected by similar experiences and stories of loss, miscarriages, infertility, and the road to parenthood
About this Event

The circle is an open format and allows for each person to share in whatever way you're feeling called to share. This is a safe and caring space. Please know this is a place built by peers who have walked a similar path of grief. It is not a group therapy session, and there is no professional moderation.

All you need to bring is yourself. If you have a journal that you’re currently working with, feel free to bring it, along with a poem, your favorite quote or a passage from a book to share with the group.

You can also bring a special item to be added to the collective altar – anything sacred that helps you cope, stay connected and honor yourself, your loss and your grief.

Arrive at 6:30PM for some snacks and a warm herbal tea featuring a medicinal blend by Plantlikethings. We encourage you to come on time to get settled in, find parking, and connect with other attendees. We will start the circle promptly at 7PM. Dress comfortably in clothes suitable for sitting on the ground in a circle for a few hours. We will have padded seats with back support and bolsters available.

LED & ORGANIZED BY:

is a Colombian-American herbalist, INELDA-trained end-of-life doula, and graduate of the School of the Sacred Wild. Rooted in Earth-based healing, she weaves together herbal medicine, ancestral wisdom, and spiritual care to offer safe, grounded spaces for those moving through loss, transition, and transformation.

Her work is deeply informed by lived experience—becoming the fertile ground for her initiation into grief work. Through her own journey, she discovered the profound medicine that lives in community circles and collective healing. These personal rites of passage, along with her formal training and mentorship in the wise woman tradition, have shaped her into a compassionate, steady, and intuitive grief holder.

is a certified mindset coach, author, and community builder based in Pasadena, California. She empowers clients to cultivate clarity, confidence, and purpose in their personal and professional lives. She is also a trained facilitator of women’s circles, passionate about creating spaces for healing, connection, and community. After experiencing three miscarriages herself, Whitney discovered the profound power of grieving in community—being witnessed, heard, and held by others walking similar paths. This inspired her to begin hosting grief circles, where those navigating pregnancy loss, infant loss, or infertility can share their stories, honor their emotions, and find comfort in knowing they are not alone. She brings her background in coaching and facilitation together with her lived experience to hold safe, compassionate gatherings that nurture heart, mind and spirit.

Oblivion is a shape-shifting community space in Highland Park. Owners Grady Wenrich and Mackenzie Howe got married in 2023 and soon after, used their honeymoon fund to open their dream store. Since then it has been used for markets, art shows, live music, meditation groups, and movie screenings. In Sept of 2025 the store officially transitioned from a retail store to a fully functioning live music and events space. Oblivion’s mission is to serve the community as a creative and healing space for all.
