Beginner Drawing Instruction & Open Studio with Vanessa Fuller-BrownJoin us at the Inverness Art Co-Op for a welcoming drawing class designed for beginners and artists of all skill levels. Instructor Vanessa Fuller-Brown will guide participants through the fundamentals of drawing in a relaxed, supportive environment.
🗓 When:
Monday, April 6 • 6:00 – 8:30 PM
Weekly on Mondays through April 20, 2026
Each session begins with 45–60 minutes of instruction focused on the core foundations of drawing, including:
✏️ Perceiving edges (contour lines)
✏️ Understanding negative space
✏️ Relationships (proportion & perspective)
✏️ Light, shadow, and tone
✏️ Seeing the whole image (gestalt)
Instruction themes may vary and could include botanicals, still life, human form, and more.
After the lesson, stay and practice your drawing skills in an open studio format, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on your drawings with mentoring and guidance from the instructor.

$30 per session
