Help us prep our garden for spring! We'll be pulling invasive plants in Ash Street Garden. Pruning our raspberry patch. Preparing beds and sowing seeds!
There will be collards, kale and other greens to harvest, as well as some herbs. We'll also be processing and turning compost.

* IMPORTANT: there is not a reliable bathroom facility at our garden. We apologize for the inconvenience, it is something we are working on remediating. We understand if you have to leave early. Please figure this into your planning.

The food in the Collective Garden at Toplot is grown directly for the people like you who use their time and energy to plant and maintain it. Any left over food goes to Baltimore Food not Bombs.
The Collective Garden is a co-learning space, so if there is something you want to know more about please ask! We also hope to learn from you and your experiences in the garden, the forest, or otherwise. Please bring drinking water. We provide tools & gloves. Please bring a bag or something to take veggies home if you can.

LOCATION: Meet at the the Collective Garden at "Top Lot" on the corner of Everhart and Yeager streets, up the hill from Ash Street along the Yeager alley.
DRIVING: park on Ash Street near the 3510 Ash Street warehouse.
PUBLIC TRANSIT: The Woodberry light rail station is a 5 minute walk, and the nearest bus stop is 36TH ST & FALLS RD wb.From HOWARD ST & NORTH AVE nb take #94 Sinai Hospital bus to 36TH ST & FALLS RD wb.
WALKING from BUS: cross Falls Road and continue along 36th street past Roosevelt Park and Recreation center. You'll also pass by another community garden there. Keep going past the school downhill a few more blocks to the end of 36th street where it meets with Ash street at the bottom of the hill and turn left. You'll see 3510 Ash Street on the right, and you'll see gardens across the street.
