Join the Chapter Chasers for our next book adventure! We invite kids ages 6-8 to chat about our early chapter book pick, have some fun reading aloud, then get creative with a related activity! In 2026, Chapter Chasers will meet quarterly so look out for the next meeting on August 30.

In this hidden gem early chapter book series, finally Greenwood gets the mayor they've been waiting for--Mayor Good Boy! In this graphic novel, a very good dog is going to save his town, one hilarious try at a time.
Chapter Chasers Book Club is made for emerging readers (6-8) chasing the thrill of reading their first chapter books! We encourage both independent reading and family read-alouds for Chapter Chasers. The goal of this book club is to get kids excited about books and reading, to encourage their self-identity as readers, and to foster community and social learning through a love of books!
Parents are welcome to stay on the Junior side and participate or browse the adult side. Parents of children 12 and younger must remain on-site.
