Welcome to the Arena, Besties!!
For April Book Club we are officially entering our dystopian romance era—and yes, we’re doing it with maximum chaos. This month’s read is giving Hunger Games-esque energy, but with an extra twisted edge: people are thrown into Pr*son for the pettiest infractions and then hunted for sport by the ultra-rich. Casual. Our heroine? An absolute menace (we love her) who gets herself arrested on purpose to save her brother… only to end up tangled in a dangerously swoony situation with a guard who is very much not what he seems. Expect tension, secrets, high-stakes survival, and a romance that somehow blooms in the most unhinged of circumstances.
And because we don’t do anything halfway, we’re leveling up in a big way, so we’ll be joined by the brilliant Brooke Fast for a live Q&A. Yes, you can come armed with your burning questions, wild theories, and emotional damage. I will, of course, be dressed for the occasion (as one does), so feel free to match the vibe or just come ready to spiral with the rest of us. Bring your sass, your hot takes (although I swear if you have anything bad to say about this book, I will break you!), and your morally questionable crushes… because this one is going to be absolutely feral.
