DC based Moon Records band the Skunks as well Atlanta bands 50/50 Shot and the Hermits of Suburbia.
Batsnack is a DC/Maryland based ska-punk band fueled by a collective love of high energy and emotionally driven music. Batsnack is a dream come true for ska obsessed singer songwriter, Tristan Griffith, having joined forces with the soulful alto sax playing of Zander Baldwin, the kinetic tenor sax playing of Ben Laurenson, the fiercely melodic and driving bass playing of Jesse Hightower, and the master of groove, Sam Kane-Gerard. Batsnack creates a unique blend of ska-punk featuring Weezer-like vocals, jammy horn lines and tight rhythms borrowed from other genres.
