Beaverdale April Neighborhood Social – Northern Lights Night! You’re invited to our April Beaverdale Neighborhood Social, and this month we’re bringing a little Northern Lights magic to the neighborhood! ✨
Join the Beaverdale Neighborhood Association on April 1 from 6:00–8:00 PM for a relaxed, family-friendly evening of connection, creativity, and community.
These monthly 1st Wednesday of the Month Docials are part of the BNA’s new Engagement Committee initiative, created to bring neighbors together in real life as part of the association’s strategic plan. While these events are a perk of BNA membership, all neighbors are welcome to attend, meet people, and learn more about the Beaverdale Neighborhood Association.
This month, we’ll be gathering at Edencrest, giving neighbors a great opportunity to connect with members of our community who live there as well. Food and drinks will be provided.
Here's more details and what to expect:
Northern Lights Program (6–7 PM)
From 6–7 PM, we’ll host a fun all-ages Northern Lights themed program that includes a short educational introduction and a hands-on art activity inspired by the Aurora Borealis.
Prefer to simply socialize? That’s welcome too! There will always be space for casual conversation and mingling; there is no mandatory participation in the program, although we do hope to encourage intergenerational learning and connection.
Open Mingling & Crafts (7–8 PM)
From 7–8 PM, we’ll transition to relaxed open mingling. Craft supplies will remain available for anyone who wants to keep creating while chatting with neighbors. (Sometimes it's easier to talk to something while you're doign something with your hands!)
Edencrest will also be providing light bites for attendees as well as canned beer, wine, and sparkling drinks.
Whether you love meeting new people or tend to be a little more introverted, this event is designed to make connecting comfortable and welcoming.
If you’re not very social, that’s okay! We have plenty of friendly neighbors ready to help make you feel welcome.
If you’re very social, come help us make sure everyone feels included.
Come by for 20 minutes or stay the whole evening, we’d love to see you!

Can my business or organization sponsor or host one of these events?
Possibly! We are exploring ways to engage with our business neighbors and we want to spread the Beaverdale Neighbor love. If you are interested in hosting or sponsoring please email Amanda at [email protected].
How can I get involved in these as a volunteer?
This programming is provided by our Engagement Committee and this initiative is being led by your neighbor, Amanda. The commitee and individual volunteers are providing their time, talent, and treasures to put these on. If you want to help or want to provide materials, you can email Amanda at [email protected]. We welcome new committee members, creative ideas, and helping hands!
