April 15 - Addressing Prescription Drug Costs

Gov. JB Pritzker and lawmakers have made prescription drug costs a high priority this legislative session, pushing legislation they say will lower prices for consumers.

But what is driving up Medic*tion costs? And what changes can those in the drug industry make to alleviate the cost burden on patients? Health News Illinois will convene a panel of experts in Chicago to address the legislative efforts and what steps stakeholders may take regarding drug costs.
