Day 1 covers structure, stacking, carving, ganaching in, covering and creating the basket weave. Finally we airbrush that amazing gingham blanket (Colour of your choice!)
Day 2 is pure playtime as sculpt and paint and texture all the fruits and pies, pastries and sausage rolls, fondant fancies, icecreams and cherry bakewells. We create our handles, fold in the table cloth and if time allows (and you want to learn) i’ll show you how to hand-paint poppy napkins too! It’s literally up to you to tell me what you want to learn! Full creative control over to you! Finally we spend time assembling and arranging the picnic baskets and create the most beautiful, mouth watering cake you ever saw.
Places are limited to 12 so that I can work 1-2-1 with each and every student throughout the class.
This skill packed TWO DAY class is going to be held at:
Chaddlewood District Centre, Chaddlewood Farm Community, Centre, 80 Glen Rd, Plymouth PL7 2XS
Your class will start at 9am sharp so please arrive at 8.45am to give yourself time to unload and settle in. Class will be finished by 5pm each day.
Everything will be provided including board, boxes, tool and paste I just ask you to bring a 10″ square cake and tub of ganache (full recipes and assistance are provided)
