Apricity means “the warmth of the sun in Winter.” Join PPY for our annual Winter Soulstice event featuring a warm slow flow with Yin held in the candlelight of our Fire studio. This offering includes a cup of custom-brewed PPY Soulstice Tea! The Winter Solstice is the shortest day and the longest night of the calendar year. Release the dark in favor of the light–both literally and metaphorically–and to welcome back the sun (light) as each new day begins to grow longer and longer.
This 90 minute class will be cozy and magically lit around an indoor fire. Expect an opening reflection and meditation, then a choreographed moving meditation followed by deep Yin stretches curated by 500 Hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Studio Founder, Sherry Lankford. Sherry will weave Winter Solstice folklore throughout the class, embracing the darkness and its ability to nourish and replenish the soul.
