About this Event
If you haven't already, please sign up for either Monday, 13th April at 3:30 or Saturday 30th May. Its certainly one not to be missed.JoanneThe session will be led by Dr Elizabeth Haddon and colleagues from the University of York, and will introduce the book Instrumental Music Education and then focus on dialogic teaching, exploring through an interactive piano lesson fragment the ways in which dialogic teaching can be used with pupils, and we'll look at aspects including our teaching approach, inclusivity and communication, and student empowerment. Tutors will be invited to share reflections on their practice and consider how to enhance their work through this approach.
Remember - Shared resources: Do you have any instrumental music books you no longer need, ABRSM exam books? Early instrumental teaching books? Bring them to the day and let's share and support each other.
