Introductory Approved Clinician Course

Nelft Medical education department are delighted to invite you to attend the next Introductory AC course which has now been developed to run remotely in two parts.

The course is fully accredited with the London S12/AC Approvals Panel as meeting the Training requirements for AC registration. It is equally valid in other areas of the country.

The first stage is an online E-Learning course which should take around eight hours to complete followed by a live online Webinar on Monday 11th November 1:320pm – 4:30pm.

Once you book onto the course we will send you a log in link for the E-Learning course which will need to be completed before you attend the Webinar.

The Webinar will consist of the following:

1.20 Registration/introduction – Sazi Banda

1.30-2.30 Consent to Treatment and Capacity, Rachel Caswell, Kennedys Law Firm

2:30pm – 2:40pm Break

2.40-3.40 Addressing Inequalities, Short Film/Discussion, Shantol Pask

3.40- 4.30 Case Studies on Detention and CTOs, Vincent Perry, Medical Director

4.30 Close

Please note that you will need to complete both parts of the training.
