Ever thought about taking on an apprentice… but decided it wasn’t worth the hassle?

ApprenticeLab is a business focused roundtable event designed to explore the real barriers preventing local employers particularly sole traders and SMEs from taking on apprentices.

The session creates an honest space for businesses who don’t currently offer apprenticeships to share concerns, challenge assumptions, and help shape practical solutions. Insights gathered will inform a findings paper submitted to central government, ensuring employer voices directly influence future apprenticeship policy and support.

No sales pitch. No jargon. Just real talk and practical ideas.

The Event will be held at the Recreation Centre - free onsite carparking.

Breakfast will be provided.

Please note, major roadworks are taking place on the A29 from the Cookstown Roundabout to the Loughry Campus entry. You may need to use a detour, depending on which direction you are approaching from so please leave sufficient travel time.
