Description:
This course will provide a better understanding of the appraisal process to the real estate professional. The differences between an appraisal, a comparative market analysis, and broker price opinion will be discussed. The regulations preventing real estate agents from doing appraisals is firm. Real estate agents can only do CMAs and BPOs; an appraisal must be completed by a licensed appraiser. Appraisers are regulated by the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board.
