Haymakers for Hope is calling on South Florida residents to step into the ring and help knock out cancer. Applications are now open through October 10 2025 for the second annual Charitable Boxing Night in Miami. No boxing experience is required and anyone interested can apply to take on this life-changing challenge while raising funds for cancer research. Selected participants will take part in a four-month training program with professional trainers and will be matched with an opponent of similar size age weight and skill level.The journey culminates on March 5 2026 at The Fillmore Miami Beach where fighters will have their first amateur USA Boxing match in front of a packed crowd. Proceeds raised benefit the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center along with other cancer charities chosen by the participants.
Since its founding in 2010 Haymakers for Hope has raised more than $35 million nationwide to support the fight against cancer including over $421000 raised in Miami last year.
