About this Event
Bring a t-shirt (or sweatshirt) and tote bag, and upcycle them with appliqué to show off your star sign with Cassandra from Laurel Small Batch Goods and Fellow Sewists
Appliqué is the sewing technique of adding fabric shapes, words, and designs onto a larger piece of fabric, allowing you to add customization, cover up stains, and add complex designs onto your makes. In this workshop, you'll learn two methods, reverse appliqué and raw-edge appliqué!
This workshop is a great fit for beginner sewists, but all participants should know how to sew a straight stich and backstich on a sewing machine. Bring your sewing machine or borrow one!
