Lunch will NOT be provided, but participants will have access to fridge/freezer as well as a microwave.
COST: $25.00
Fees charged will be refunded upon completion of the class. Those registering but not attending, will not be refunded. Cancellations will be accepted and refunded up to 24 hours prior to the training. The refund will return to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please note that additional convenience fees are charged by the registration website and these are non-refundable.
DESCRIPTION:
Learn to how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.
ASIST is an evidenced based, is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations.
Widely used by professionals and the general public, it teaches a six-task suicide first-aid model and includes extensive opportunities for skills practice through trainer facilitated workgroups.

C EUs
Montgomery County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services has been approved by:
the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board to offer continuing education credit hours to Counselors and Social Workers (Provider #RCS111304) and has approved this training for 13 hours (continuing) CEUs;
the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board to offer recognized clock hours to Chemical Dependency Counselors and Prevention Professionals (Provider #50-17863) and has approved this training for 13 hours of CEUs (C7) (P2=1.5, P3=2, P6=9.5).
The Ohio Board of Nursing will accept a continuing education activity that has been approved by a board or an agency that regulates a health care profession or related discipline in Ohio including the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Information regarding continuing education requirements is available on the OBN website here.
Other licensing boards may also accept these hours, however it is the attendee’s responsibility to establish this prior to attending.
