From March to October, Ashford Ramblers, are hosting a monthly short weekend walk, and these will usually take place on the last Saturday of the month.For the April walk, we start from Appledore on a gentle circuit of 5.8 miles, which commences along the Royal Military Canal Path. There is a very small incline to Kenardington church, before joining the Saxon Shore Way, passing through Gusbourne Vineyard en route back to Appledore.
Non-members can participate in up to three walks, before becoming a member.
Dogs welcome, but on a short lead when required.
Difficulty: Leisurely
Ascent: 180ft
Starting point - Meet at car park in Court Lodge Road, which is off The Street close to the Black Lion, if needed there are toilets located at the nearby Recreation Ground.
