Over the last 40 years, on the first Saturday of October, the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce has hosted Apple Harvest Day. Once a craft fair made up of 25 vendors along Orchard Street in downtown Dover, Apple Harvest Day has grown into a true street festival spanning eight city blocks with two entertainment stages, two food courts, a 5K road race, children’s amusements, and 300 vendors. In 2024, Apple Harvest Day drew more than 60,000 visitors!
