On behalf of APP STATE POLICE (Hickory), I am excited to invite you to participate in our 1st Annual App State Hickory Block Party, taking place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on March 28, 2026. This is a 🚨FREE FAMILY EVENT! 🚨NO ALCOHOL!!This inaugural event is designed to bring together our campus and the greater Hickory community for a day of connection, collaboration, and celebration. The Spring Block Party will highlight our academic programs, student initiatives, and community partnerships, while also recognizing the vital role of our local public safety and civic partners.
We will have a DJ, bounce houses, food trucks, clogging, and cultural dance lessons, plus lawn games. In addition, a variety of our academic departments, such as astronomy, physics, biology, and cybersecurity, will offer fun academic activities for adults and children alike. We will also have our wonderful admissions team available for questions about enrollment. There is so much going on, I can't list it all. You will have to swing on by and see what's going on.
