It is time for another monthly Plant and Seed Swap!Sunday, June 7th, 2-3pm

Heads up! We are changing up how we do things in an effort to improve the experience, provide more time/spaciousness for community/socializing, and make things all around more fair and equitable. Here's the plan:
ð Folks are welcome to arrive a little early, but not earlier than 1:45pm.
ð Host will set up the following zones:
ðŧ Native Plants
ðĩ Non-native Plants
ð Veggies/Fruit
ðŠī Indoor Plants
ð Seed Library and items brought for specific people (labeled with their name)
No-Swap Zone: place for people to place items they have claimed to keep them safe.
Each zone will have a table with labeling supplies and a volunteer if available to answer questions and offer guidance.
From 2-2:15pm folks can work on the following:
- Setting their things in the appropriate zone and labeling them properly.
- Checking out what other folks brought and socializing!
2:15: Host will welcome everyone, make announcements and briefly go over the rules.
Bells/Chimes/Horn (whatever noise maker the host brings)
ð 1st (2:20pm): 1st round of swapping. Take only 1 of each offering you are interested in.
ð 2nd (2:30pm): 2nd round of swapping. Go back for seconds of any offering that remains.
ð 3rd/Final (2:40pm): Anything goes! Whatever remains is up for grabs!
ð Other norms/vibes/guidelines:
ð It is okay to come empty handed for your first swap or two, but you are encouraged to bring something to support the community.
ð Suggested non-plant/seed things you can bring: permanent markers, small containers for plants, bags, envelopes, labeling stakes, cardboard boxes, folding tables, helping hands for setting up and cleaning up.
ð Vibes: generous, abundant, sharing, community building, social, learning, giving, intentional, kind, courteous, intergenerational, multicultural, inclusive, supportive, and safe.
