๐ Join us for the AOT Annual Conference 2026, the flagship national meeting for ENT trainees across the UK, taking place at the Hilton Bournemouth on Friday 5th June 2026.
This trainee-led conference brings together doctors from foundation level to senior registrars, and welcomes medical students for a full day of inspiring talks, practical insights, and forward-looking discussions on surgery, training, innovation, and the future of ENT.
๐ฝ๏ธ The day will conclude with a 3-course black tie conference dinner, with a pre-conference social on Thursday 4th of June, offering excellent opportunities for networking and reconnecting with colleagues.

1. The Future of ENT Training and Surgical Practice
Challenges, opportunities and a positive vision
- Navigating the balance between service provision and professional development
- The evolving role of technology and AI in ENT training and surgical practice
- A perspective from the BRS President on how funding constraints have affected training and how the specialty can move forward
- An update from the SAC Chair on ISCP and curriculum changes, including challenges and opportunities to improve the trainee experience
2. Career Progression and Practical Guidance
- Practical workshops and talks covering Core Surgical Training, ST3 applications, FRCS preparation, and consultant appointments
- Subspecialty-focused sessions with practical advice on how to succeed and thrive across the full breadth of ENT
๐ Abstract Submissions
We welcome oral and poster abstracts from trainees at all levels, from medical students to post-CCT fellows. Abstracts are limited to 1,600 characters (~250 words) and will be peer-reviewed anonymously. Each author may submit up to two abstracts.

All abstracts are considered for posters. Accepted posters should be printed A1 landscape (594 ร 841 mm).
Prize: ยฃ150 for best poster.
We encourage eco-friendly printing where possible.
