About this Event
The Academy of Medical Educators is pleased to bring you our next AoME Insights webinar.
How to manage stuckness in teaching.
Educators may have a feeling of ‘stuckness’ during their interactions with learners. There is usually frustration that the teaching is not going to plan, that the expected learning is not happening or the learner is not fully engaged. The use of structured thinking frameworks can help educators to make sense of the multi-dimensional nature of ‘stuckness’ and the insights can be used to inform an action plan to overcome the situation. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own experiences and to share their own approaches for managing ‘stuckness’.
Format
The meeting will consist of short presentations and group discussions, with a brief comfort break and opportunities for questions.
