A study day with learning opportunities tailored for Palliative Care Professionals in Aotearoa.
Speakers include interventional radiology, gastroenterology, psychiatry, and oncology. Delving into the latest update in their field and their respective contributions to palliative care.
We will include a Rongoā Māori session. The traditional healing system of Māori. Rongoā focuses on the oral transmission of knowledge, diversity of practice and the spiritual dimension of health. Rongoā Māori encompasses herbal remedies, physical therapies, and spiritual healing.
There will be time over lunch to catch up with others and touch base with the community attending.
We will host a dinner on the Friday night (26th July) for those wanting to further korero with their colleagues. Time and location to be advised.
LOCATION:
The B:Hive is situated in Smales Farm in Takapuna and is easily accessible by bus from downtown Auckland (10 minutes). Parking is plentiful at Smales Farm.
It is across the road from North Shore Hospital and Harbour Hospice, North Shore.
