Scouts Victoria continues our longstanding support of the Melbourne CBD Anzac Day Commemorations in 2026This year, we expect to support about 8,500 march participants and 110,000 spectators.
Our role continues to expand as the Anzac Day Commemoration Council requests more assistance from Scouts. In 2026, we will require approximately 100 Rovers and Leaders to support veterans, the RSL, and ensure the safety of our members. We also need plenty of youth members carrying signs and banners in the march.
Rover and Leader briefing will begin at 7am - assemble outside ACMI (on the Flinders Street side.)
Youth members carrying signs and banners should begin to report to the Scouts Victoria position outside ACMI (on the Flinders Street side) from 7.30am.
At the end of the march, Scout participants join the back of the formed march and assist at the Commemorative Service at the Shrine before returning to Federation Square.
