The details of the October Kohatu Day ride are almost complete.Event registration and briefing will be held at Nelson Motorcycles at 8am with stands up at 8:30am. GPX files will be issued prior to the event and we will provide sweep riders and medical support.
Starting in Nelson we will head towards Kohatu, turning off to follow a private forestry road and heading up to the Inwoods Look out. From there we will make our way to a private farm for 3 hours to ride a 5km intermediate loop (as many times as you want), 50 km’s of tougher trails to explore and a play area with small to large jumps and banks. After a lunch we will head back to Nelson via 88 Valley road, a private farm and across the ridges to a second farm exiting into Pig Valley.
Cost to be $110 and a lunch will be held on site with a BBQ as a fund raiser ($20 additional).
If you are a repeat rider on Kohatu Rides the price is reduced to $100 to show we appreciate your support.
