A meeting for black carers to share their experiences of systemic racism.
About this Event

Following the successful first meeting in April this year, we are coming back for the next part of the conversation. This is a safe space for global majority carers to talk freely about systemic racism to leaders within Children's Social Care, surrounded by the support of other carers and the HFCC committee.

We want to say a big thank you to those carers who came and shared their experiences last time. As one carer mentioned, it was just the tip of the iceberg, and the discussion could go much deeper.

The Museum of the Home has a sensory play space for children, and the HFCC committee can organise childcare for carers who require it.

Attendance will count towards carers' training points for the year.

Refreshments will be provided.
