About this Event
This is a collaborative anti‑racist and environmental justice training session being planned by the North East Anti Racism Coalition, Northumbria University, and Friends of the Earth.
This interactive session provides practical skills and fresh thinking to help create climate campaigning rooted in equality and justice.
Climate Justice needs Radical Justice - be part of the Change!
Together, we’ll:
✅ Explore the intersection of climate justice and racial justice
✅ Unpack Britain’s historical relationship with racism and anti-racism efforts
✅ Learn how to embed anti-racism into climate campaigns for lasting impact
This isn’t just a training—it’s a call to action. You’ll leave with tools to help build a climate movement that reflects the diversity of voices and experiences around us. After the session, you’ll have the chance to dicuss and plan how to integrate anti-racist principles into your current or future campaigns.
