Our Antenatal Pilates classes are suitable for mums in their second and third trimester of pregnancy and are held in our Pilates studio in Balerno. This class runs in a 6 week block to allow for continuity for participants, and to gain the maximum benefit from the classes. If your baby is due before the end of the block but you'd like to come up until your due date, please get in touch.
Our Antenatal Pilates classes are expertly designed to improve pelvic floor engagement, back and pelvic girdle control, flexibility, upper and lower limb strength, postural control and correction. Our classes are also a great opportunity to meet with other local Mums-to-be.
Please check with your Midwife or GP prior to starting exercise in pregnancy.
Classes are socially distanced in our bright airy studio, with up to 10 participants. Your Pilates instructor makes adjustments and progressions for each participant to ensure that the maximum benefit is gained from your Pilates class.
