Have you ever wondered about Antarctica? Its link to climate change? What people are trying to do about it? Join us for an enlightening evening as we explore how the Homeward Bound initiative is empowering scientists with enhanced leadership skills against the breathtaking backdrop of Antarctica. Through six completed voyages, nearly 600 women and non-binary individuals in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine) from around the world have embarked on this journey. With the ambitious goal of upskilling 10,000 leaders in STEMM, the program is dedicated to increasing their impact and influence for a more sustainable future.
Tickets are free, but registration is essential. Drinks and nibbles will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the fundraising campaigns of two local Homeward Bound participants who will be voyaging in January 2025.
