Please join us for our 41st Annual Game and Family Day on Thursday, June 25th, at Citi Field!
About this Event

Answer the Call's Annual Game & Family Day event is our most cherished tradition each year. Originated by our founder and NY Mets legend - Daniel J. “Rusty” Staub - Answer the Call has hosted this event since 1985, gathering the families of NYC first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Prior to the game there will be a pre-game reception, including complimentary food, drinks, and family-friendly activities for all ages. It will be a wonderful night for the Answer the Call community to come together, and we hope you'll be a part of this special celebration! You can click here to watch a brief video recap of our Game & Family Day in 2023.

A discounted ticket price is available for active members of the FDNY, NYPD, and PAPD. If you are an Answer the Call beneficiary family member (of a fallen first responder whose family we serve) looking to request complimentary tickets to our Game & Family Day, look out for an email going out in April with instructions and a link to do so. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

Schedule:

  • 6:00pm - Pregame reception in Bullpen Plaza
  • 7:10pm - First pitch

Every ticket purchased and sponsorship pledged will help enable us to continue to providing this event completely free of charge for the families of our fallen NYC first responders.
