Derek will be walking continuously for 24 hours around the lake at Druridge Bay Country Park in Northumberland. He will be walking in a clockwise direction. This has become a tradition, just before Christmas every year. Each year for a different charity.As always he welcomes anyone to join in for a lap or two..or more. The support tea will be around the firepit to say hello.
This year he is doing it in aid of RNID ( The Royal National Institute for Deaf People) who are here to help people in the UK who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.
Helping people to hear better and to fund world-class research
