SAVE THE DATE for our Legendary Lake Mills Classic Christmas & Winter Market Weekend: Friday, December 6th & Saturday, December 7th, 2024 On Friday, December 6th Santa Claus will ride to Commons Park on a Lake Mills Fire Department Truck with one lucky kiddo. At 5:30PM Santa will be lighting Commons Park with the Christmas Magic🎄
Following the tree-lighting there will be photos with Santa Claus, caroling, treats, and more. There will be more details to come🎄
Once again, Jensen Plumbing Heating and Air is hosting a coloring contest. The winner will be chosen by Santa Claus himself on Tuesday, December 3rd. The winner will get to ride with Santa to the Tree Lighting. Coloring pages can be picked up and dropped off at Jensen Plumbing Heating and Air (204 W Lake Street) or the Legendary Lake Mills Office (200E Water Street) 🎄

COMMONS PARK LIGHTING INFORMATION:
Once again lights will adorn the Commons Park Band Shelter, Lion’s Shelter, and the Public Restrooms that will be lit at the same time as the Christmas Tree. These holiday lights were installed by Lang Lighting and Decor LLC out of Stoughton, in which one of the owners lives right here in Lake Mills.
Some history behind this project is that when there was a threat of Big Santa not returning to Commons Park, a committee led by Mary of The Corner Mercantile, looked to the community to raise funds for a replacement. The generosity of the community was overwhelming, and funds were eventually matched by the Lake Mills Area Community Foundation.
This is the second phase in a greater vision to continue to add to the Downtown District Christmas decoration. As additional funds are raised, the community will continue to see Legendary Lake Mills shine bright for the holidays! Thank you to all who donated, and volunteered their time to make this happen.
